ITINERARY
ISTANBUL – CAPPADOCIA
After landing in Istanbul, you will immediately transfer by domestic flight of about 1 hr and 20 mins to Kayseri Airport where you will be welcomed by our Turkish associates and taken to your hotel in Cappadocia which is about one hr’s drive away. After dinner you will meet your Professional Tour Guide who will brief you on all the aspects of your forthcoming tour.

CAPPADOCIA (B/L/D)
North Cappadocia Tour
Pick up from your hotel at 09:00 and the start of the North Cappadocia Tour. On this tour you will be shown the different types of Fairy Chimneys and also learn about the Christian history attached to the chimneys. You will visit Uçhisar Castle, Göreme Open Air Museum, Çavușin Old Greek Village, Pașabaǧi (Monk’s Valley) Fairy Chimneys.

End of tour – drop off at hotel.

CAPPADOCIA (B/L/D)
You are going to be picked up from your hotel before sunrise (exact time to be announced) and driven to the take-off site. While you are having a light breakfast, you will be shown the balloon and briefed on the basic rules of balloon flights. You will take off gently in a medium sized basket with your experienced pilot on board. After taking hundreds of pictures while flying over the valleys of Cappadocia, you will land and celebrate your first flight experience with champagne/fruit juice. After being awarded your flight certificates you will get back to your hotel at around 07:30.
South Cappadocia Tour
Pick up from your hotel at 09:30 and depart on a cultural tour where you will enjoy great panoramic views of the different valleys, descend into the underground City of Kaymakli and have a short hike through the Rose and Red Valley.
Lunch
After lunch you will be taken to the Pigeon Valley and afterwards attend an Onyx demonstartion.

CAPPADOCIA – KONYA – ANTALYA (B/L/D)
After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Konya. A stop on the way to visit the Sultanhani Carvansarai that had its origins from Seljuks Turk Architecture period.
Lunch
After lunch you will visit the Melvana Museum at the Rumi place in Konya City. After this visit you will be taken to your hotel in Antalya.
Overnight in Antalya.
ANTALYA – PAMUKKALE (B/L/D)
Pick up from your hotel at 09:00 and depart for the Aspendos Ancient Theatre.
This incredibly well preserved ancient theatre was built during the 2nd century AD. It could seat a population of 15 000 and is still being used for music festivals and concerts.
Lunch
After lunch at a restaurant at a nearby river we depart to spend about 1 hour free time to enjoy the sea and the city. We will stop to admire the Duden Waterfall. We will then proceed to Pamukkale.
Overnight in Pamukkale.
PAMUKKALE – KUSADASI (B/L/D)
After breakfast check-out we drive to the ancient city of Hierapolis where St Philip was martyred in 1 AD. You will see the Necropolis, the Avenue of Tombs and Thermal Baths.
Lunch
After lunch we will visit probably the most beautiful and serene place on earth – the snow white terraced cliff pools with its sparkling blue waters of Pammukale end of the tour drive to Izmir.

EPHESUS – BURSA (B/L/D)
After breakfast we go to Ephesus which was the third biggest city in the ancient world and also the site of the most important churches of Asia Minor. Here we will geat to see the remains of the great Library of Celsus (the biggest in the ancient world), the Agora, Odeon, Trajan Fountain, Domitianus Temple and the Roman Latrines. A short walk down the Agora is the Theatre and Stadium where St Paul preached the Gospel.
Next is a visit to one of the most sacred sites in Turkey – the house of the Virgin Mary where she is said to have spent the last years of her life.
Lunch
After lunch we will se St John’s Basilica and the Isabey Mosque, the oldest mosque in the area. A final visit for the day is the remains of the Artemis Temple which was one of the wonders of the ancient world.
Overnight in Bursa.
BURSA – ISTANBUL (B/L/D)
After breakfast we have the opportunity to make a purchase at Turkish Delight, which represents the Turkish culture with all its tastes and flavours. Then the visit to the Green Mosque, Green Tomb and Grand Mosque will follow, all being breathtaking spots for soul travellers.

After lunch drive to Istanbul.
Overnight in Istanbul.
ISTANBUL (B/L/D)
This is an exciting day with a full day tour of the ancient part of Istanbul. We will visit The Hippodrome of Constantinople, the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Serpentine Column, the German Fountain of Wilhelm II, the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia Museum.
Lunch
After lunch we will be taken to see the magnificent Topkapi Palace.

ISTANBUL (B/L)
Today we will visit the Goldern Horn, Spice Bazaar and afterwards enjoy Istanbul’s splendid landscapes and building from the Marmara sea as we cruise by boat on the Bosphorus.
Lunch
The afternoon is free for you to explore and shop at the wonderous Grand Bazaar.
Today we bid a sad farewell to a woundeful country and to our excellent tour guide and bus driver. Depending on the time of our flight home, there may still be time for a bit of last minute shopping in the morning. Our bus will pick us up at our hotel and take us to the airport.
