ITINERARY

Day 1Istanbul

ISTANBUL

You will be picked up from the airport and will be transferred directly to your hotel in Istanbul.

Accommodation in Istanbul.

Day 2Istanbul

ISTANBUL (B/L/D)

You will be picked up from your hotel at around 08:30. You will visit Blue Mosque and Roman Hippodrome, St.Sophia Museum, Basilica Cistern (Underground Water Palace), Million stone, Tomb of Sultan Mahmud and ancient Ottoman cemetery, Cemberlitas (Burnt Column) and German fountain.

Lunch

At the end of the tour you will have free time at the Grand Bazaar.

Note: Please note that St. Sophia Museum is closed on Mondays and Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays.

Accommodation in Istanbul.

Day 3Istanbul

ISTANBUL (B/L/D)

You will be picked up at  your hotel around 8:30. You will visit: Suleymaniye Mosque and Eyyub aleyselam mosque and Spice Bazzar.

Lunch

After this you will take Bosphorus Cruise by public boat.

Accomodation in Istanbul.

Day 4Ephesus

EPHESUS – Early flight to Izmir (B/L/D)

Check out at the hotel early in the morning for flight to Izmir. You will be picked up from the airport for full-day Ephesus Ancient City Tour. Visit the premiere Greco-Roman City of the ancient world, Ephesus. Explore the Temple of Hadrian, Domitian’s temple, Hercules gate, famous Celsus Library, Great theater and other Roman sites. We will also visit House of Virgin Mary where she is believed to have spent her last years. On November 29th, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI proclaimed the House of the Virgin Mary at Ephesus to be sacred.

Lunch

Give a break to taste delicious, healthy and traditional Turkish food. Take your way to the Temple of Artemis, which is the one of the seven wonders of ancient world.

Day 5Pamukkale

PAMUKKALE – CAPPADOCIA (B/L/D)

You will be picked up from your hotel at around 08:15 for the tour of Pamukkale, which is the center of natural thermal spring waters with healing properties. Due to the chemical properties in the water, pure white colored travertine and stepped water terraces have been created on the mountain slope. It is for its resemblance to cotton piles that it is called ´Cotton Castle´ in Turkish. Visit the travertines and the ancient city of Hierapolis which has the biggest Necropolis with 1200 gravestones in Anatolia. The sacred pool also is one of the highlights of the site. There shallow thermal waters ripple over a wonderful scattering of ancient roman ruins that lie beneath.

After the tour, we will drive to Cappadocia.

Day 6Cappadocia

CAPPADOCIA (B/L/D)

You will be picked up at around 09:30, then you will drive to Devrent Valley where the geographical formations remind a place of another planet. Then in Pasabagi, you will take a stroll between the amazing fairy chimneys of Cappadocia.

Lunch

From there, driving to Avanos to have lunch. After having the lunch you will drive to Uchisar Castle, the highest point of the region, where you will have a fabulous panoramic view over Cappadocia. You will return back to your hotel at around 17:00.

Day 7Cappadocia

CAPPADOCIA (B/L/D)

You will be picked up from your hotel at around 09:30 for a tour on a 4 km hike through the Rose Valley visiting the churches. Afterwards visit the old Christian village of Cavusin.

Lunch

Stop for lunch in Pigeons Valley and then continue to see the marvel of construction that is the Derinkuyu Underground City. You will also visit the Ortahisar Natural Rock Castle. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 8Istanbul

CAPPADOCIA – ISTANBUL (B/L)

You will be picked up at your hotel at 9:30am to visit Kursunlu Mosque’ this mosque is built by Damat Ibrahim pasha. This is also a big comlex for religious group.  Afternoon time is free for other optional activities in Cappadocia like (Hamam, jeef safari tour and buying for some souvenirs in Cappadocia).

Lunch

After the tour you will be transfer to airport for your flight to Istanbul.

(Depend on the time of flight back to your country, aırport to hotel transfer and additional hotel accommodation can be arrange for extra charge)
