ITINERARY
ISTANBUL
After your arrival to Ataturk Airport, pick up at the exit of first gate by driver. (Holding a sign with your name on it) Transfer to hotel and Free time.
Overnight in Istanbul.
ISTANBUL (B/L/D)
Pick up by the tour guide around 08:30-09:00 am and start Old City tour by walk. Visits to the Blue Mosque The Sultan Ahmed Mosque, one of the most revered masterpieces of the Islamic world, is famous with its blue ceramic tiles and six minarets., Byzantine Hippodrome was the center for entertainment, amusement and sports in the city during the Roman and Byzantine Empires. The Egyptian Obelisk, the serpentine column and the German fountain of Willhelm II are sites to be visited., Hagia Sophia ( 1500 years old basilica from Byzantine times, converted to a mosque during the Ottoman times and now open as a museum), Topkapı Palace (Sultans’ residence after conquest of Istanbul, full of exhibitions of relics, Sultans’ costumes, swards, guns, treasury, thrones) Midday, lunch break in a local restaurant. Last visit to a traditional old shopping mall; Grand Bazaar which has more than 4000 shops, 60 streets, selling jewelry, ceramics, carpets, copper, leather etc, and it is the only historical market in the world that attracts between 250.000 and 400.000 visitors a day. End of the tour, arrival to hotel.

ISTANBUL – ANKARA (B/L/D)
Pick up by the tour guide around 08:30-09:00 am and start with the Spice Bazaar where your guide explains the miracle of the herbs and spices! We visit Rüstem Paşa Mosque and then walk to the embankment. You take the boat and cruise for 90 minutes. The boat goes by the shores of Bosphorus while your guide specialist on Bosphorus will explain you everything en route. You will see the views of Dolmabahce Palace, Leanders Tower, two suspension bridges, Rumeli Hisarı Fortress, beautiful mansions by the shores of Bosphorus and finally we disembark near the Spice Bazaar.We are going to Ankara that is the capital city of Turkey.

ANKARA – CAPPADOCIA (B/L/D)
Pick up by the tour guide around 08:30-09:00 am and start with Museum of Anatolian Civilizations.The collections in this museum place an unusual emphasis on the earlier of Anatolia’s occupiers, and start with an interesting exhibit of finds from the Catal Huyuk site, often described as the earliest known human community in the world. Other highlights include a collection of tablets, the translations of which remind you how little some things in the world have changed over the millennia and we are going to Ataturk Mausoleum:
This mausoleum is the eternal resting place of Ataturk, the founder of the Turkish Republic, revolutionary, brave soldier, great leader and international figure. It overlooks Ankara and was completed being built in 1953 and in November 1953, Ataturk was buried there. The Mausoleum is adorned with statues, relief’s and embellishments created by many of Turkey’s artists. We are going to Cappadocia.

CAPPADOCIA (B/L/D)
Pick up from your hotel at 09:15 and the tour starts with Love valley where you can discover the spectacular rock formations, magical fairy chimnies and our guide tells you about history of Cappadocia and volcanic formation of fairy chimnies.After you will visit the Paşabağları ( known as a Fairy Chimney Valley ) and you have chance to see many fairy chimnies with one body and multiple caps and then we drive to Avanos town famous with potteries from Hittities period.The lunch is optional and we spend approximately one hour for the lunch.After lunch we drive to Devrent valley where you can see various types of fairy chimnies like mushroom shape and animal shape and then we through to Ürgup and Ortahisar rock-cut castle to watch view of old Greek house which was built in 1800s.After watch the best view of Cappadocia we drive toGoreme Open Air Museum is a place where you can visit carved churches and chapels and monasteries.The churches were painted with frecoes from between 10th and 13th centuries.We finish our tour and back to your hotel.

CAPPADOCIA – PAMUKKALE (B/L/D)After breakfast we drive through the Derinkuyu Underground City to explore hand –carved tunnels and underground city.The christians communities lived in underground city as a refugee and you will see the usual rooms such as stables , kitchens,cellars ,storages rooms,churches,wineries.We set off westward along the ancient Silk Road toward Konya, stopping for a look at the huge Sultan Han caravanserai en route. After we arrive in Konya, visit the Tomb of Rumi in the Museum of Mevlana, an important place of pilgrimage for Muslims. Then, we visit the Ottoman-era Sultan Selim mosque before having lunch in a traditional Turkish restaurant. After our lunch drive through to Pamukkale.

PAMUKKALE – ISTANBUL (B/L)
After breakfast around 08:00 you will be picked up from your Pamukkale hotel and You will then begin the Pamukkale tour with a drive from hotel starting at 8:30 am to Pamukkale which will be around 3o minutes.You will begin your guided tour of the Pamukkale and Hierapolis area with a profession licensed tour guide. In Pamukkale, you will see the Cotton Cliffs, one of the natural wonders of the world formed by deposits of calcareous salts. Also you will visit the ancient ruins of the City of Hierapolis with its basilica, theatre and Roman Baths. At the end of the guided tour, you will have some free time to explore the area on your own. As an option, you may choose to swim in the Pamukkale antique pools (at own expense) during this free time. The tour guide will inform you about the exact meeting point and time. At the end of the tour around approximately 4:00 pm, you will be transferred to airport and back to Istanbul.
