ITINERARY

Day1

Cappadocia Red Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel with our guide, bus and driver at 09:30 – 09:45. We go directly Uchisar Castle and you can watch a breathtaking Cappadocia view. This fantastic rock formation is highest place of Cappadocia to watch Cappadocia as panoramic.
After that we go to Goreme Open Air Museum which entered the Unesco World Heritage List in 1985. You can see rock churches, carved chapels built by early christians, an orthodox monastery sheltered to the escape from Roman attacks. You can see very well preserved frescoes on the walls of churches and chapels. This frescoes are paintings have came by resist corrosive effects of time. The frescoes are from 5th. century.
And lunch time. You have a chance to taste Turkish delicious in a local restaurant. After lunch we forward to Avanos. Avanos was center of terracota arts in B.C. 2000 Hittite times. You will have a chance on here to watch and see traditional pottery demonstration art. The clay used in pottery demonstration gets from passing heart of town Kizilirmak which second longest river of Turkey known as Hallys in antique times.
Our next stop is Pasabagi (Monks) Valley. Pasabagi is best place to see three-hatted fairy chimneys.Also you can understand the formation of Cappadocia from up to down.
After Pasabagi we forward to the Devrent (Imagine) Valley. You can have a fun time imagining the visual rock formations that are different from the present rock formations that will fascinate your dreams.
Our last stop will be Urgup. You will see a rock formation which symbol of Cappadociaon here. After Urgup our lovely tour finishes and we take you back to your hotel or wherever you want.

Day2

Cappadocia Green Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel with our guide, bus and driver at 09:30 – 10:00. We go directly Goreme Panoramic View Point. You can watch nicely Goreme view and almost all of Cappadocia and take excellent photos. Also your guide explain important informations about Cappadocia. You will have free time to take photos and explore the area yourself.

Our second stop will be Derinkuyu Underground City which biggest, largest and deepest underground city of Cappadocia. Derinkuyu Underground City has 8 level at the under of ground. You will see different sections on each level (kitchen, sitting room, restroom, tombs, stable, missionary school etc.)… Your guide explain informations about levels and formations.

After underground city, we forward to Ihlara Valley. Here is biggest and deepest canyon of Cappadocia. We visit Agacalti Church after walk approximately 300-400 m. You can see a church which keep the history very well. Than starts a walking nearby the Melendiz River through to the Belisırma Village placed in hearth of Ihlara Valley about 3 km. You will spend enjoyable times in natural life of valley while walking . After 1.30 hour walking we will arrive Belisırma Village. You will have a nicely lunch near the Melendiz River.

After lunch we drive to Selime Monastery. Here is also known as a cathedral and oldest cathedral of Cappadocia. You will see kitchen, missionary school, church, small churches while visiting here. But it is a little difficult to see frecoes. Somebodies say a few chapters of Starwars movie taken from here or desired take here. There is an excellent landscape on roof.

Almost one hour later we will arrive Uchisar, Pigeon Valley. You can see unique panoramic view of Pigeon Valley, take photos, see hundreds of pigeon houses, feed the pigeons.

Our last stop will be Onyx Workshop. Giving informations about valuable and half-valuable stones from the Cappadocia region on here. After Onyx Workshop our lovely tour finishes and we take you back to your hotel or wherever you want.

Day3

Cappadocia - Adiyaman

Departure in the morning from Cappadocia. After passing Kayseri, visit the 13 th centyry Seljukian Caravansarai ”Karatayhan”. The next stop will be in Pinarbasi for a short tea break than drive to Tekir for Lunch. Take a picture of the beautiful scenery of the Tekir Valley. And then drive to Kahta. Tea break, transfer to hotel, overnight on Mt.Nemrut.

Day4

Nemrut - Harran - Göbekli Tepe

Very early departure up to the ruins, after get off the minibus twenty five minutes climbing on foot to the top where you will watch the beautiful sun rise between the colossal size statues and heads of the kings and Gods. After sun rised time to walk around and taking pictures. Then drive back to the hotel for breakfast. Drive to Kahta, on the way visit the ruins of the arsemia Roman bridge of Cendere and Tümülüs Tomb of Karakuş. Tea break in Kahta. Drive to Sanli Urfa-Harran on the way visit Ataturk Dam which is the biggest dam in Middle east. Check in to hotel in Sanli Urfa, after lunch visit Abrahams Cave and the Pools of Holy Carp surrounding it, than walk around oriental covered bazaar drive to Harran. Harran is a village of Spellbinding Mud-Brick ”beehive” houses mentioned in the book of genesis where Abraham spend last years of his life. Visit the ruins of Harran including city walls, oldest islamic university and the castle dated to eighteen century. Then tour goes to Gobekli Tepe. The oldest temple in the world so far excavated. Also considered site for the garden of Eden. After the sun set drive back to the hotel, dinner and overnight in Sanli Urfa

Day5

Sanliurfa - Istanbul

Departure from Sanli Urfa to Birecik which is the famous with its bald-ibis (Kel aynak) birds. This birds are living only in Bilecik in the world. There is not much left of them. There is a Breeding farm of Bald İbis birds. Having a lunch, drive up to the Taurus Mountain. Tea break than drive back to Goreme.
